For my Jewish Siblings Grappling with Identity in this moment…
Jewish Identity Support
I cannot tell you how many folks reach out to me saying they feel:
Alone and isolated due to their new or changing views on Palestine and Zionism.
Unsure of who to trust or reach out to
Lost as to what Judaism untangled from Zionism can look like
Devastated and fearful about the potential loss of connection to loved one and a core sense of identity.
Confused about, well, everything.
They tell me they wish to feel:
Connected and nourished in Jewish community as they have in the past (or perhaps for the first time)
Confident in their beliefs and ability to speak in alignment with their values
Held in their grief as relationships shift and change
Active in their processes of learning about decolonization as a Jewish person
I am here to tell you you are not alone
Hi, I’m Dr. Rebecca Cohen
A parent, psychologist, coach, white-bodied, queer, Ashkenazi Jew, and invested member of the Jewish community that is actively de-coupled from Zionism.
My approach is steeped in over 15 years of training in the decolonization of healing modalities.
This is rooted in my own experiences growing up as a Jewish person who felt excluded in many Jewish communities because my family wasn’t doing Jewish “right.”
I’m also a lifelong horseperson committed to land justice, equine wellbeing, and trauma healing.
I have developed a special coaching offering just for you that is both accessible and impactful.
